Yoga at West 6th Tempe with Epic Fitness!
The Epic Fitness head Yoga instructor, Lianne Miller, will be offering a free beginner level Yoga class at West 6th Tempe this Tuesday evening, May 29th at West 6th Tempe at 7:00 pm. We’ll be meeting in the gym, and there’s no pre-registration required. The class takes about 50-60 minutes and afterwards residents are free to ask questions and consult with Lianne on Yoga related topics.
Here’s a rough itinerary of the Yoga class from Lianne…
We will start with a short breathing exercise and neck and back stretches (1-5 minutes)
Then we move from seated to hands and knees (5-10)
Then standing poses (the bulk of the class) which consist of sun salutations, balance poses, ect. (10-40)
Then we move to belly poses, back to seated, and finally to resting poses (40-60)
Beginners are welcome! Please bring your mat if you have one, if not we have plenty of extras!

Position: Certified Yoga Instructor
Certification: 250 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate
Background:
Lianne has been certified as a Yoga Instructor since 2008 by the Providence Institute in Tucson, Arizona. She is also certified in teaching guided meditations and has a background in holistic health and wellness. Since receiving her certification in 2008 she has taught Kids Yoga and Basic/Intermediate Hatha and Flow yoga. Lianne currently teaches beginner/intermediate yoga at multiple Epic Fitness locations
